This could be your spare fast charger or if use as additional charger when needed really quick charge. It is much quicker then standard 1.7A charger. This 5A can charge your battery more or less 3.5h from flat to full. Obviously It's depended from your battery capacity.

It suitable with battery size 15Ah and above.

For calculation (approximate) charging time, add 10 percent of lost to your battery capacity ex. (15ah x 10% = 16.5) then divide you result by the charging current of the charger, which is 5 Amps in this case. So empty 15 Ah battery will charge in about (16.5/5 = 3.3) more or less 3.5h included factoring in final balancing.
